Duke was my first dachshund and my parents bought him when I was a year old. His official AKC name was Brandi's Little Duke. He is the reason I fell in love with dachshunds. Duke will always remain in my heart as my friend & protector.
Duke: May 24, 1984-April 1996
Snickers was our first mini smooth and our first chocolate. He could always be found sunbathing on the back of our couch or by the backdoor. It was his favorite thing to do! On a cold day he would curl up in the first available lap under a blanket. Just as his show career started to take off, he was tragically taken from us. Snickers lives on in our hearts and in "Ace," a puppy from the only litter he sired.
